Lithium-ion battery: It is a secondary battery (rechargeable battery), which mainly relies on the movement of lithium ions between the positive and negative electrodes. In the process of charging and discharging, Li + is intercalated and de-embedded between the two electrodes: Li + is de-embedded from the positive electrode while charging, and the negative electrode is in the lithium-rich state after electrolyte is embedded into the negative electrode; in the case of discharging, the opposite is true.
Lithium batteries are divided into lithium batteries and lithium ion batteries. Mobile phones and laptops use lithium-ion batteries, commonly known as lithium batteries. Batteries generally use materials containing lithium as electrodes, which is the representative of modern high performance batteries. Real lithium batteries are rarely used in everyday electronic products because of their high risk.
