For example, it looks like we are indeed getting a classic version of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, with content being rolled out in phases and all of the inclusions you’d expect from the idea of that expansion as a classic server. The press kits also confirm the contents of the upcoming patch 9.1, Chains of Domination, which sees players exploring the long-dormant domain of Kothia for new quests and outdoor activities. There’s also a new raid in the form of the Sanctum of Domination, a new Mythic-only dungeon in the form of Tazavesh, a new installment of the covenant campaigns bringing together the four covenants, and new cosmetic armor for the covenants as well. That’s in addition to flight, new mounts and pets, and a teaser image for what looks like a Death Knight version of Anduin Wrynn.
To be clear, we weren’t sent the kits ourselves as they weren’t sent to us early, but Wowhead’s pretty darn credible, and a lot of the new stuff comes directly from Blizzard’s own public media site where it was probably intended to be kept under password (but was not). Further leaks are still being collected; it should make things rather interesting when the actual presentation takes place tomorrow.
Worth noting is that the other games haven’t received identical Blizzard-oops leaks, but there are supposed leaks from well-known leak-nexuses nonetheless, including one that claims we’ll get the Diablo Immortal release date, Diablo II Resurrected reveal, a Hearthstone expansion, a Warcraft mobile pet battle game, and a new class and area reveal for Diablo IV – all of which were probably on your predictions list anyway.
