Afraid not. Your phone is able to communicate and can be tracked because of various radios inside it. However, these radios work only when the phone is switched on. When it's switched off, your phone is about as trackable as a brick. I recommend to install special app to track phone location https://www.hoverwatch.com/track-phone-location it works perfect for me.

Yeah, I have read an article about it today on https://light-it.net/blog/pros-and-cons-of-react-native/ as my colleague recommended me to do it and actually I found it really informative and it's easy to understand, even if you know nothing about it.
